Independent Aerial Dance Alliance
Syllabus & Grades
About IADA (UK)
The Independent Aerial Dance Alliance (IADA UK) has been established to support the aerial syllabus and graded exams developed by My Aerial Home, a leading school of aerial dance based in London.
The vision is to facilitate the training and development of aerial dancers and circus artists through a structured, safe, and effective aerial dance education and examination syllabus.
This new umbrella alliance is an exciting opportunity to unite dance, aerial, and circus schools and trainers within the growing aerial dance industry. Establishing and maintaining high aerial dance standards together.
Our goal is for this association to grow with its members, remaining true to its name as an independent aerial dance organisation that exists to support and empower its community.
IADA offers a comprehensive aerial dance syllabus and grade exams, across a wide range of aerial disciplines.

With a solid foundation and proven track record My Aerial Home’s IADA is in the best position to bring you the best Aerial Grades
Since its founding in 2009, My Aerial Home has been at the forefront of redefining aerial arts. Pioneering aerial dance as a distinct discipline separate from its circus origins, while celebrating both its artistic and physical roots.
Our programmes attract students worldwide, from Guatemala, America, Europe, and Switzerland, among others and have led to:
- The creation of over 20 affiliated schools through our teacher training programmes
- Hundreds of professional aerialists performing internationally across diverse platforms: cruise ships, contemporary circus, cabaret, corporate, and commercial productions
We are proud of our proven record of developing professional aerial dancers and providing exceptional training standards globally.
Our Ethos
We believe in kind, ethical training that delivers real results through a healthy and positive methodology.
We understand that aerial learning is not linear. It has its ebbs and flows, highs and lows, plateaus, and breakthroughs.
At IADA, we celebrate that journey.
You are part of our team, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
Together, we’ll make aerial dance education something to be proud of, uplifting, empowering, and full of joy.
